Ingrédients
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine the basil leaves, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until the basil is finely chopped and the mixture is smooth.
- With the blender running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the vinaigrette is emulsified and smooth.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Transfer the vinaigrette to a sealed container and refrigerate until ready to use. Shake well before serving.
