Date Nut Energy Bars - High Protein
The Power-Packed Date Nut Energy Bars are a delightful combination of natural ingredients, offering both flavor and nutrition. With a blend of dates, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and chia seeds, each bar provides a perfect balance of sweetness, nuttiness, and crunch.
Ingrédients
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a food processor, pulse almonds and walnuts until they are coarsely chopped.
- Add the pitted dates to the processor and pulse until well combined with the nuts.
- Add sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and chia seeds. Pulse a few more times until the ingredients are mixed.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Warm over low heat until just combined.
- Pour the honey mixture into the food processor and pulse again until all the ingredients are sticky and well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press firmly into an even layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
- Store the energy bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
