Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus - Vegan
The Spicy Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus brings a new twist to the classic dip, infusing it with fresh cilantro and a kick of jalapeno heat. Ingrédients
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 medium jalapeno, seeded and chopped
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 garlic garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons water (more if needed)
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, cilantro, jalapeno, tahini, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, and salt.
- Process until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary. If the hummus is too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more lime juice or salt if needed.
- Transfer the hummus to a bowl and drizzle with additional olive oil if desired.
- Serve with fresh vegetables, pita chips, or your favorite dippers.
