Ingrédients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers
- 2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
- 4 tablespoons cold water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fresh lavender lavender or edible flowers for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, honey, and dried lavender flowers.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat until it is hot but not boiling, then remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water in a small bowl and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Strain the cream mixture to remove the lavender flowers, then return the strained mixture to the saucepan and gently reheat if necessary.
- Stir the bloomed gelatin into the warm cream mixture until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into serving cups or molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Garnish with fresh lavender or edible flowers before serving.
