- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup honey
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 medium ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the butter and honey together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Stir in the mashed bananas and yogurt until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
