Ingrédients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 medium banana
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup ice (if using fresh blueberries)
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add the almond milk, rolled oats, and chia seeds to a blender. Blend until the oats and chia seeds are finely ground.
- Add the banana, blueberries, almond butter, vanilla extract, and ice (if using fresh blueberries) to the blender.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk until the desired consistency is reached.
- Taste and add maple syrup if additional sweetness is desired. Blend again to combine.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
