  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown, shaking the pan halfway through.
  • While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, prepare the balsamic glaze by combining the balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, and minced garlic in a small saucepan.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.
  • Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and transfer them to a serving bowl.
  • Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the roasted Brussels sprouts and toss to coat.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
