Ingrédients
  

  • 1 and and 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 packs packs (8oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dulce de leche
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Additional dulce dulce de leche for topping (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • Mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Fold in 1 cup of dulce de leche and the heavy cream, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is just set and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  • Let the cheesecake cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Before serving, drizzle additional dulce de leche over the top, if desired.
