Our Crispy Baked Avocado Fries with Chipotle Mayo is a delightful snack that perfectly balances crunch and creaminess. Encased in a golden, crispy panko coating and baked to perfection, these avocado fries are paired with a smoky chipotle mayo that adds a punch of flavor with every dip.
Ingrédients
- 2 large avocados, ripe but firm
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon chipotle chili powder
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the avocados in half, remove the pits, and slice each half into wedges.
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Dredge each avocado slice first in flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally coat with the panko mixture. Press gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated avocado slices on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through baking.
- While the avocado fries are baking, make the chipotle mayo by combining mayonnaise, chipotle chili powder, and lime juice in a small bowl. Mix until smooth.
- Serve the crispy baked avocado fries with a side of chipotle mayo for dipping.
