Teriyaki Salmon Bowls - High Protein
The Teriyaki Salmon Bowls bring the essence of Japanese cuisine into a wholesome and delightful meal. With succulent teriyaki-glazed salmon fillets placed elegantly over a bed of fluffy jasmine rice, this dish is as eye-catching as it is delicious. Steamed broccoli, vibrant shredded carrots, and creamy avocado slices complete the bowl, making each bite a harmonious blend of flavors and textures.
Ingrédients
- 2 large salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 garlic garlic clove, minced
- 1-inch piece piece ginger, grated
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- 1 cup steamed broccoli
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 avocado, avocado, sliced
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 green green onions, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well to create the teriyaki sauce.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the teriyaki sauce over them. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated salmon fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through and has a nice glaze.
- In a serving bowl, assemble your cooked jasmine rice, steamed broccoli, shredded carrots, and sliced avocado.
- Place the cooked teriyaki salmon fillet on top of the bowl.
- Drizzle the remaining teriyaki sauce over the bowl.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
