Ingrédients
- 4 large chicken breasts
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Butterfly the chicken breasts by slicing them horizontally, making sure not to cut all the way through.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Divide the shredded cheddar cheese evenly among the chicken breasts, placing it in the center of each.
- Fold the chicken breasts over the cheese, tucking the edges to seal.
- Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.
- Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts in the skillet until the bacon is crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
