Homemade Whopper-Inspired Burger - High Protein

Ingrédients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 hamburger hamburger buns
- 4 slices American cheese
- 4 slices tomato
- 4 lettuce lettuce leaves
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 cup sliced pickles
- 1 small small onion, sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide into four equal portions and shape into patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil and butter. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
- Toast the hamburger buns in the same skillet until lightly browned.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to create a sauce.
- Assemble the burger: Spread the sauce on both sides of each bun. Add the lettuce, patty with melted cheese, tomato slice, onion slice, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
