Ingrédients
- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 4 large egg whites
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- 1 medium kiwi, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy.
- Add granulated sugar, sweetened condensed milk, lime zest, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined.
- Gently fold in the shredded coconut and finely chopped kiwi.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop the mixture into small mounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the macaroons are lightly golden.
- Allow the macaroons to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
