Fig and Honey Tart - Vegetarian

Ingrédients
- 6 fresh fresh figs, sliced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
- Add the cold cubed butter and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to combine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined. Press the dough into a 9-inch tart pans.
- Arrange the fig slices on top of the crust.
- In a small bowl, combine the honey, lemon juice, and lemon zest, then drizzle it over the figs.
- Sprinkle the sliced almonds on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the figs are caramelized.
- Let the tart cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
