Ingrédients
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup almonds, sliced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, sliced almonds, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the coconut oil and stir in the honey and vanilla extract until blended together.
- Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until all the oats and almonds are evenly coated.
- Spread the granola mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the granola is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow the granola to cool completely on the baking sheet. It will become crispy as it cools.
- Once cooled, transfer the granola to an airtight container for storage.
- Serve the granola with fresh mixed berries.
