Ingrédients
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 whole whole pita breads
- 1 tablespoon za'atar (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for pita)
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Blend until smooth, gradually adding 1/4 cup of olive oil and enough water to reach your desired consistency.
- Adjust seasoning to taste, adding more salt or lemon juice if necessary.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut pita breads into small triangles and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Brush pita triangles with olive oil and sprinkle with za'atar if using.
