- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a small bowl, mix almond milk and ground flaxseed, letting it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the vegan butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, cocoa, and vanilla until smooth.
Add the flaxseed mixture, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
