  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet packet taco seasoning mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 10 hard hard taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon as it cooks, about 7-10 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  • Sprinkle the taco seasoning mix over the cooked beef and add water.
  • Stir well and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and beef is well coated.
  • Remove the skillet from heat.
  • Warm the hard taco shells according to package instructions.
  • Fill each taco shell with seasoned beef.
  • Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and salsa.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
