- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup hot brewed espresso
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
