- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes, for garnish

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and light. Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, beating until just combined. Stir in the shredded coconut and lime zest.
- Spread the dough evenly in the prepared baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool completely in the pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, and powdered sugar until smooth. Pour over the cooled bars and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle with unsweetened coconut flakes and lime slices for garnish. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
