Ingrédients
- 1 cup dried chickpeas, soaked overnight
- 1/2 medium onion, roughly chopped
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a food processor, combine soaked and drained chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until the mixture is finely chopped, but not pureed.
- Shape the mixture into small balls or patties and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the falafel with olive oil and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While the falafel is baking, prepare the tahini sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together tahini, lemon juice, Greek yogurt, water, and garlic powder until smooth and creamy.
- Serve the baked falafel with the tahini sauce for dipping.
