- 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried
- 8 ounces ounces dark chocolate, chopped
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/4 cup white chocolate, melted (optional, for drizzling)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, twisting slightly to ensure an even coating. Lift and let any excess chocolate drip off before placing the strawberry on the prepared baking sheet.
- Repeat with all strawberries. Let them sit at room temperature until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes. For a quicker setting time, you can refrigerate the strawberries for about 15 minutes.
