Mini Cheese Croissants - Vegetarian
Our Cheese Symphony Mini Croissants are a delightful fusion of creamy cheddar and robust Parmesan cheese, all wrapped up in delicate puff pastry. As they bake, the rich aroma of cheese mingles enticingly with the crisp, golden layers of pastry, creating an irresistible snack that's both simple and indulgent.
Ingrédients
- 1 sheet sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface until it is approximately 12x12 inches.
- Cut the puff pastry into 12 equal triangles.
- In a small bowl, mix the shredded cheddar cheese with the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Place a pinch of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Carefully roll each triangle up from the wide end to the point, forming a crescent shape.
- Place the croissants on the prepared baking sheet.
- In another small bowl, beat the egg with the milk and brush this egg wash over each croissant.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
