Quick Miso Soup is a harmonious blend of traditional Japanese ingredients that come together to create a bowl of comfort and warmth. Featuring umami-rich white miso paste, tender cubes of tofu, and earthy shiitake mushrooms, this soup is both flavorful and nutritious. Ingrédients
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup white miso paste
- 1/2 cup firm tofu, cubed
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 sheet sheet nori, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup wakame seaweed, rehydrated
- 1/2 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer and add the miso paste, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Add the tofu, green onions, nori, wakame, and shiitake mushrooms to the pot.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
