The Vegan Chocolate Coconut Oat Bars bring together the rich flavors of dark chocolate and the tropical essence of coconut into a satisfying, healthy snack. Ingrédients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips, vegan
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, shredded coconut, and salt.
- In a small saucepan, melt the almond butter and coconut oil over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if using.
- Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely in the dish, then lift out using the parchment paper and slice into bars.
