Ingrédients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix almond flour, ground flaxseed, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, honey, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
- Fold in the sliced almonds, mixing until they are well distributed in the dough.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening them slightly with your fingers.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the biscuits turn golden brown.
- Allow the biscuits to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
