Ingrédients
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat a large pot of water to a boil, and blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and immediately transfer the beans to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the blanched green beans to the skillet, tossing to coat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Pour the mixture over the green beans and toss to combine.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes, tossing once more. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the beans are heated through.
- Serve immediately as a side dish or over rice for a simple main course.
