Ingrédients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (use low-sodium if preferred)
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and black pepper. Set aside.
- In another small bowl, mix the water and cornstarch until combined. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and stir-fry until it is browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.
- Add the broccoli florets and sliced onion, stir-frying until they are tender-crisp, about 5 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet, along with any juices that have accumulated.
- Stir the sauce mixture well and pour it over the beef and vegetables, stirring to coat all the ingredients.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet, stirring constantly until the sauce has thickened, about 1-2 minutes.
- Serve hot, optionally with steamed rice or noodles.
