Ingrédients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup water chestnuts, diced
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 head head lettuce, separated into leaves
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and fresh ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- Mix in the low-sodium soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to combine.
- Add the diced water chestnuts and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced green onions and sesame oil. Cook for 1 more minute and remove from heat.
- Spoon the mixture into the lettuce leaves, wrapping them up tightly.
