Ingrédients
- 1 large leek, white and light green parts only, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup goat cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 pre-made pre-made pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add leeks and garlic, sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
- Spread sautéed leeks evenly over the bottom of the pie crust. Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese on top.
- Pour the egg mixture over the leeks and goat cheese in the pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let the quiche cool slightly before slicing and serving.
