Double Bacon Cheeseburger - High Protein

Ingrédients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices bacon
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger hamburger buns
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 4 leaves leaves lettuce
- 4 slices tomato
- 1/2 cup sliced pickles
- 1 medium red onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Form the ground beef into 8 equal-sized patties, about 1/2-inch thick. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- In the same skillet, cook the beef patties over medium-high heat about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach desired doneness. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on four of the patties during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns either in a toaster or on the skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the buns. Place one plain beef patty on each bun, followed by the cheesy beef patty. Add two slices of bacon on top of the cheese.
- Add lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and red onion slices on top of the bacon. Spread ketchup and mustard on the top halves of the buns, and complete the assembly by placing them on top.
