The Zesty Carrot and Ginger Miso Delight brings a refreshing and unique twist to traditional dip offerings. Vibrant orange carrots blend seamlessly with the zesty kick of fresh ginger and the umami depth of white miso, creating a creamy, smooth dip that is both visually appealing and bursting with flavor.
Ingrédients
- 4 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons white miso
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium pot, bring water to a boil and add the chopped carrots. Simmer until the carrots are tender, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
- In a food processor, combine the cooked carrots, white miso, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, water, minced garlic, salt, lemon juice, and olive oil.
- Blend the ingredients until smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides of the processor bowl and blend again for a silky texture.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. If the dip is too thick, you can add more water, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh cilantro if using. Serve with your choice of fresh vegetables, crackers, or pita chips.
