Ingrédients
- 8 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup dried apricots, chopped
- 1/4 cup almonds, chopped
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon orange zest (optional)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, stirring occasionally until smooth.
- Stir in half of the dried cranberries, dried apricots, almonds, and walnuts into the melted chocolate.
- Drop spoonfuls of the chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, creating small mounds.
- Sprinkle the remaining dried fruit and nuts on top of the chocolate mounds. Add a pinch of sea salt and a hint of orange zest on each bite for an extra flavor boost.
- Allow the chocolate bites to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or place them in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to speed up the process.
- Once set, carefully peel the chocolate bites off the parchment paper and store them in an airtight container.
