Ingrédients
- 2 medium ripe avocados, mashed
- 3 medium ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed avocados and bananas until smooth.
- Add in the eggs, coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract, then mix well to combine.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
