Tahini and Date Breakfast Bars - Vegan
These Tahini and Date Breakfast Bars are a delightful fusion of Middle-Eastern flavors and wholesome ingredients. They combine the nutty richness of tahini with the natural sweetness of dates, accented by the crunch of almonds and pumpkin seeds, all bound together with honey.
Ingrédients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup pitted dates, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup almonds, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, chopped dates, almonds, pumpkin seeds, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the tahini and honey to the dry ingredients and mix well until the mixture is fully combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
