Homemade Granola with Honey - Vegetarian
The Golden Honey Nut Granola brings together a medley of old-fashioned oats, a variety of delicious nuts, and the natural sweetness of honey to create a crunchy, golden-brown breakfast treat. Ingrédients
- 4 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, almonds, pecans, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and shredded coconut.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the honey, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are evenly coated.
- Spread the granola mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the granola is golden brown and fragrant.
- Remove from the oven and let the granola cool completely on the baking sheet. Once cooled, mix in the dried cranberries.
- Store the granola in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
