Ingrédients
- 1 block block extra firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Drain and press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with soy sauce until evenly coated.
- In another bowl, combine the cornstarch, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Coat each tofu cube with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the tofu cubes to the skillet and cook until all sides are golden brown and crispy, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the crispy tofu cubes to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
