Chicken Spring Rolls - Halal
Our Chicken Spring Rolls are a delightful treat that brings together the best of crispy textures and savory fillings. Each roll is packed with tender chicken, crunchy carrots, and fresh cabbage, all encased in a golden-brown wrapper. Perfect as an appetizer or a snack, these spring rolls are tailored to impress at any gathering.
Ingrédients
- 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 spring spring roll wrappers
- 1 egg, egg, beaten
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the thinly sliced chicken breast with soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, shredded carrots, shredded cabbage, green onions, and black pepper.
- Place a spring roll wrapper on a clean, flat surface. Add about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture near the bottom corner of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold the sides over and roll tightly. Brush the beaten egg on the top corner to seal the roll. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium-high heat.
- Fry the spring rolls in batches, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crisp, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with sweet chili dipping sauce.
