Avocado Deviled Eggs - Vegetarian
Creamy Avocado Deviled Eggs Delight takes a classic appetizer and elevates it with the rich, smooth texture of fresh avocado. These deviled eggs are not only visually appealing with their vibrant green hue but also pack a punch of nutrition and flavor that will impress your guests.
Ingrédients
- 6 large eggs
- 1 large avocado
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
- 1/2 medium red onion, finely chopped
Instructions
- Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 10-12 minutes.
- Drain the eggs and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to cool. Peel the eggs once they are cool enough to handle.
- Slice each egg in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. Place the yolks in a medium bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mash the avocado until smooth. Combine the mashed avocado with the egg yolks.
- Add lime juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, mayonnaise, salt, and black pepper to the avocado mixture. Mix until well combined and creamy.
- Spoon or pipe the avocado mixture back into the egg whites.
- Top with chopped cilantro, red onion, and crumbled bacon if using.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
